Yes - once again, Picture Me Perfect is headed to the Van's Warped Tour in Boise, Idaho this weekend - August 8th. Just a little promo for my boys' band... picture to follow...

Another dress...

Well - I found another photo of my dressform - this time with a vintage undergarment, though I don't know how you could keep something so wonderful covered up! I suppose just knowing you were wearing such yummy goodness might have been enough. Maybe it's a nightgown! Again, this is something worn by my grandmother or one of my great-grandmothers. The photos aren't fantastic but you get the idea! The dressform is a size 8 and the dresses I have just barely squeeze on the form! Oh, and yes, I have wonderful stories of my grandma. She was born in 1908 and lived until she was 96! Oh, the stories! Perhaps I will share some in future posts!

Show Me Your Form

Wow - I'm late...sorry about that! Here is my dress form, unfortunately not vintage, but still a great way to show off some of the vintage clothing I have. I've posted about her before - I named her after my four great-grandmothers - Ruby Malinda Beatrice Nell . She is modeling a dress belonging to my grandmother, Helen. It's an original beaded dress from the 1920's. My grandma was a "flapper" and a model. I will try to find a photo of her to post!
