Vintage Baby Clothes

What do you think? I have all of these vintage baby clothes from my grandma's trunk and I want to display them. I thought hanging them in the window of my studio/bedroom would look kind of nice. I don't think they can fade much more so I'm not worried about the sun. I'd rather use them than keep them in the trunk... Just an idea!

I think it's a great idea. They look lovely hanging there in the window. :)

be careful though, the sun will make them dry rot.

They are just lovely! You do need to be careful about the heat of the sun deteriorating the material. Maybe you could rotate them out and display them on a clothes tee like a cross? But you're right, packing them away would be a shame!

I love this idea. I have a few vintage baby clothes and have them just hanging around. Love this. I think I might do this in my kitchen. That window has very little sun. Good for a change of pace.

Thanks
Sandi

they are so gorgeous, I think I would be scared to have them out for very long.

This is an adorable way to display vintage baby clothes. I love the look of the rod inserted through the sleeves. Couldn't be much easier! I agree with MoonDog and Vickie, however, that over time, the sun will damage them.
